Who isn't even assessed by Burning Tree Master Association?

 Burning Tree Master Association does not assess certain lot owners in Burning Tree One, Burning Tree East, or Burning Tree West. However, Burning Tree Master Association board of directors maintains that according to the  Covenants these areas fall under  Burning Tree Master Association.  How is it possible that Burning Tree Master Association board of directors can demand money from some lot owners and not from others when covenants have NEVER been amended to allow for that?


Is this why the Burning Tree Master Association board of directors have steadfastly refused to do the legally required audit as their own by-laws require? Would the truth come out for everyone to see, who all was never assessed while others of us have been required to pay and pick up the slack, under threats of liens? 
  

Wouldn't you like to know how many years in arrears some lot owners are and why they have not been assessed or liened when the Burning Tree Master Association says that no covenants have been changed anywhere (except in the Burning Tree South area and when Burning Tree One made the one amendment to change their roofs)?

Please check the covenants you should have been given at your closing. Were you "informed in writing" at closing?  

Title 60. Property
Oklahoma Statutes   Title 60.  Chapter 17,   Section 852,  paragraph C"
 No lien may be placed or mortgage foreclosed unless the homeowner was informed in writing upon joining the owners association of the existence and content of the owners association restrictions and rules, and of the potential for financial liability to the individual owner by joining said owners association.

If you did not receive the information in writing does it look like (from the paragraph above) that you can or cannot be liened? Should you receive a lien does it not appear that it might fall under "Slander of Title? (Oklahoma State law allows for treble damages to be collected.)
